Amberwood

Were tucked into a curve in the road to the North Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP), at the base of the mountainside; its a short 5-7 minute drive to the Parks entrance. Were about the same amount of time outside of the town of Estes Park, where shopping and restaurants abound, as well as a variety of activities for all ages; museums, tours into the wilderness and RMNP, family-operated amusements (go-karts, bumper boats, batting cage, big slide, miniature train, water-balloon challenge, miniature golf, etc.), playgrounds, fairgrounds for rodeos and horse shows, a walking and bike path around Lake Estes, an aerial tram part way up the small mountain in the middle of Estes Park, fishing, ropes courses, horseback riding, and more. Of course, the Park is the biggest attraction, with its hundreds of miles of hiking trails to gorgeous alpine lakes and alongside bubbling brooks and crashing streams, as well as world-famous Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in North America, generally open each year from the weekend before Memorial Day (last Monday in May) through when snow and ice force its closure any time between mid-October to early December. Offering a barbecue and childrens playground, Amberwood is located in Estes Park on 11 wooded acres. Rocky Mountain National Park is 4.8 km from the property. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. All units have a seating area. Some units include a dining area and/or balcony. There is also a kitchen in some of the units, fitted with a dishwasher, an oven, and a microwave. Towels are available. You can engage in various activities, such as golfing and fishing. Wildlife can often been seen around the property. Boulder is 48 km from Amberwood, while Loveland is 41 km away. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
