Bivouac Dunes de Chegaga

The camp is located 30 km away from M'Hamid El Ghizlane city, where there is a public bus station but in order to reach the camp a 4x4 vehicle with a driver is necessary as it is in the desert. The Erg Chegaga is very well known and a famous desert marathon that takes place each year passes through this place whilst lovers of the desert meet there. Ouarzazate Airport is approximately 280 km from the camp. The camp is located in sand dunes. It is a magical place, and a haven of peace and quiet away from all the stresses of the world, where guests can relax, go on walks and go on camel rides. At night this place becomes something else, when everyone gathers around the campfire to enjoy the music of the nomads and join them to play or just contemplate the starry sky. The charming family-friendly camp was renovated in 2009 and has a total of 30 tents. There is a restaurant and a car park on site. The camp offers nomad tents, equipped with double beds, mattresses, sheets and blankets. It also has a toilet block with showers and toilets. The camp offers the possibility to go on walking excursions and camel rides. In the camp, there is a breakfast buffet and lunch and dinner are also served. For the customers who stay more than a night the full board is recomended.
