How Hostel Hostal Otavalos Inn came to be We’re very happy to welcome you to the first independent Turist Bussines and ,Bubackpacker’s hostel in Otavalo -Ecuador, and one of the first in all of Indigenous Owners . The Hostel of today has grown and developed over year of labor & love – here we’d like to tell you a little about how it all began, and even a bit about where it might be going :). The building that now houses Hostel Hostal Otavalos Inn was built in the in 2010, by Otavalos Family Natives of high valley in the Andes of Ecuador, Indigenous people whose handcrafted textiles and traditional music are now sold in countries around the globe. Known as weavers and Crafters since pre-Inca times. Otavalo City hosting more than 145,000 tourists annually at their Saturday market., as travelers we know what it is to be away from home ,so We created this little resting place but with great heart to make you feel at home away from home we want to make sure that our house continues to feel like home – or maybe even better! So please come and visit, any time of year, for a single night or a nice long stay – each and every day, we’ll be doing our very best to make sure your stay Hostal Otavalos Inn is located in Otavalos, just 15 km away from Cuicocha Lake, and features free WiFi access, an on-site a la carte restaurant and free parking. Rooms at the hostel provide a cable TV and a private bathroom with a shower. Some of the rooms have a beautiful view of the mountains. The on-site restaurant offers a variety of local dishes and a continental breakfast is served for an extra fee. Supermarkets and other restaurants are located within a 15-minute walk.
