La Finisterra

This lodge is set on a hillside in Playa Hermosa and has one of the best panoramic views of the incredible Gulf of Papagayo, and guests can also enjoy the colourful sunsets. The hotel is located in the province of Guanacaste in the north-east of the country. The centre of Playa Hermosa and its beach are about a 5-minute drive and it is some 10 minutes by car to the tourist centre of Playas del Coco and its beach. Renovated in 2010, this beach hotel comprises a total of 10 rooms, including 1 junior suite. Facilities on offer to guests include a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a children's playground. It is also possible to try windsurfing, motor boating, sailing and catamaran sailing, and those preferring land-based sports can enjoy a game of squash, tennis, minigolf or golf. Guests are served a continental breakfast and the midday and evening meals may be enjoyed à la carte.
