Richmond House Cottages are set on a beautiful, 7 acre property overlooking the river, sea and coastal bush. The indigenous garden and magnificent and large fig trees attract birds and small animals including mongooses and small buck. Its a special place of tranquility with a rich history dating back to the 1820s, preserved in the museum on site. Jazz and classical concerts are offered 4 times a year at the museum/music room and so too a showroom of Cape and high quality furniture. Each fully equipped 4 star cottage offers a very comfortable, relaxing and tranquil experience. Situated along the Garden Route, Richmond House Cottages offers self-catering cottages on a large, historic property with a boma area. A hot tub and a billiards room are also available on site. The cottages all include a lounge with TV, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. Some cottages are equipped with a dishwasher. The bathrooms all come with a shower, and some have also have a bath. Each cottage is serviced daily. Guests can relax in the garden or the hot tub. They are also free to use the BBQ facilities and hot tub. Richmond House Cottages is located just 2 km from Royal Port Alfred Golf Club and 2 km from the Kowie History Museum. Port Alfred Airport is 4 km from the cottages. Please inform Richmond House Cottages in advance of your expected arrival time.
