"The Residence by Sandoway" is born as a contemporary and alternative destination to its sister property “The Sandoway Resort”. With the opening of its doors in February 2013 the objective of Ownership is to provide an additional offer on the shores of Ngapali Beach to the fast growing tourism demand: with its beach front location and the Sandoway services comfort, “The Residence” does not aim to be the first choice of a specific typology of travellers but of various ones. Thanks to the experience and reputation gained with “The Sandoway Resort” over the course of 15 years the entire Sandoway Team is pioneering once more a brand new concept on the wonderful coastal strip in the state of Rakhine and is ready to welcome its guests and guarantees them a memorable experience. Offerings water activities like snorkelling, canoeing and fishing, The Residence features free bikes and free WiFi. A 20-minute drive from Thandwe Airport, this beach front property is set on Ngapali beach. Guests’ facilities include a 24-hour front desk, a garden and a terrace. Other facilities offered at the property include a ticket service and luggage storage. Laundry service and airport shuttle can be requested at additional costs. Featuring a spacious balcony with sea or garden views, all room come with a private bathroom. A safety deposit box, an electric kettle and a minibar are fitted in each room. Free toiletries are provided. Please be informed that the property offers transfer from/to Thandwe Airport at an additional cost. Guests are kindly requested to inform the property 3 days in advance with flight details if they wish to make use of this service. Please note that children under 12 years old who share existing beds will be charged an additional USD 8 for breakfast.
