Akasha Mountain Retreat, new location consists of a Cape-Maroc style private villa with 3 buildings: A 2-bedroom house, a cottage with 2 interleading bedrooms and a 1-bedroom cottage, all located near each other. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge and dining with fireplace and a patio, terrace and BBQ facilities. At Akasha, guests have exclusive use of the private villa, as well as the 130-hectare property on which is it located. Explore the vast grounds boasting fynbos, forest kloofs and a river bed - with a guide, or alone after receiving a complimentary orientation drive. The property is rich in indigenous flora, fauna and bird life. The Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve is 25 km away and the Breede River, which meets the Indian Ocean is a 50-minute drive away. The hosts live nearby, and can arrange meals or grocery deliveries. Please inform Akasha Mountain Retreat, new location in advance of your expected arrival time. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please note that there is a 10 km dirt road leading up to the property and a recreational vehicle is recommended, especially during wet weather.
