Many mountain and lakeshore walking routes are available directly from the hotel. These include Helvellyn, Fairfield Horseshoe, Langdale Pikes, and low level routes beside Rydal Water and Grasmere Lake. Bridge House Hotel & Silver Howe View Cottage is less than 5 miles from Lake Windermere and around 13 miles from Keswick. Ambleside’s attractions include the Armitt Museum and 17th-century Bridge House. Free parking is included for guests. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Evening meals are not served at the propertys restaurant and will be provided at the sister property about a 5-minute walk away.
