Castletown House is an early 18th Century house which has been restored with loving care and features the unique ruins of an early 12th Century Norman Castle on the farm. Castletown House, was established as a family run B/B over 35 years ago and was the recipient of 3 major Tourism Awards over the years and is recognised for quality,value and great guest experience. This charming country house offers comfortable spacious bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities and flat screen T.V. Free wifi is available throughout. We have ample free car parking available for our guests, and a games room for the children. In our local town - Rathdowney- there is a lovely playground, and it is free for the children.
