Chalet Barthelemy

Chalet Barthelemy is an old renovated barn which was built in stone and wood - it has been recently renovated to 8 bedrooms to a very high standard incorporating rustic and modern style. The penthouse family suite is spectacular with stunning views on to the glacier. During warmer months there are balconies and a terrace giving most rooms direct access to outside space. The property is not a hotel but a shared chalet so expect to be having meals with the other guests at the same table and apart from the suite, the lounge is also shared. Our hosts do not always speak perfect French but they provide a warm welcome and a hearty breakfast. If you have any queries they can always contact me and as I live close by I am happy to accommodate where possible. You are also welcome to help yourselves to afternoon tea which is left out on a self-serve basis (winter season). We also offer an evening meal in the chalet which is three courses with wine so please reserve this in advance - it is included in the price during the ski period - except one day which is the staff day off. Offering a restaurant, a bar and views over the glacier, Chalet Barthelemy is set in a renovated 16th-century barn located in Peisey-Nancroix. The closest ski lift to Les Arcs, the Vanoise Express and La Plagne is 100 metres away. Free WiFi access is available. The rooms and suites at Barthelemy feature a wardrobe, a desk and a balcony or a terrace. They each have a private bathroom with a bath or shower. At Chalet Barthelemy you will find a terrace and a large communal sauna. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge offering satellite TV. Ski equipment can be hired, while a heated ski storage area is available to dry out ski boots. Guests can also benefit from a reduced rate on ski passes. Bourg-Saint-Maurice is a 22-minute drive away and Moûtiers is 30 km from the chalet, while La Plagne is 27.5 km from the property. The property offers free parking.
