Located in Žižkov, just three tram stops from Václavské Námestí, our hostel is surrounded by the citys best bars, beer gardens, cafes, and restaurants. Access to our reception, rooms, and common areas is only possible via stairs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Private Rooms: Our private rooms feature a mix of double and single beds. Please inform us of your preferred arrangement through the booking platform, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. Location: Our hostel is situated on a hill; directions on our website can help you access the hostel with less incline. Please inform Clown and Bard Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Reception Hours: 07:30 - 23:30. Check-In Hours: 15:00 - 22:00. All requests for arrivals outside check-in hours must be pre-arranged with our staff at least 48 hours in advance. Additional charges may apply for a check-in after 23:00. City Tax: Guests 18 years or older must pay a city tax of 50 CZK/night upon arrival. Key Deposit: A refundable key security deposit of 200 CZK or 10 EUR (cash only) is required at check-in for each set of keys. Group Reservations: For groups of 8 or more, a deposit of 400 CZK or 20 EUR per person is required (cash only). This deposit ensures adherence to house rules and covers potential damages. It is refundable upon check-out after a room inspection. Minors: Guests under 18 are not allowed in dorm rooms. Written parental consent is required for those under 18, who may only stay in private rooms. A parental permission form can be found on our website. No-Show Policy: The full amount of the reservation, plus applicable taxes, will be charged in case of a no-show. Accessibility: Our reception, rooms, and common areas are only accessible via stairs; no elevator is available. We apologize for any inconvenience. Conduct Policy: The hostel reserves the right to deny admission to anyone acting aggressively, intoxicated, under the influence of narcotics, or posing a threat to staff and guests.
