conville farm is a sir herbert baker styled home built in 1908.having been in the family for 4 generations now it maintains almost all of its original fixtures and fittings, with the added convenience of modcons. it was originally run as a ostrich and lucerne farm during the height of the feather trade,and over the years has continued to operate has a functioning farm. the house was developed into a B&B in the late 80s by Jean Gerrand,and was continued on by Linda Gerrand to date. it is set only 800m above the orange river, with a sprawling garden and magnificent views looking across the river into the orange free state.
