House was originally Carols dads when he was a child and he sold it in 1960. Carol and Harry bought it back in 2003 and renovated the old house and then built on a totally new house. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the family-run Creevagh Heights B&B is in a scenic part of County Mayo. With free Wi-Fi throughout and free private parking, it is just 15 minutes’ walk from Lacken Beach. The rooms include a TV, alarm clock, hairdryer and complimentary natural spring water. Ironing facilities are also available upon request. The shared, private, or en suite bathroom facilities offer free toiletries. The shared bathroom has a spa bath and a separate shower. In the mornings, the Creevagh Heights serves full Irish breakfast. Evening meals from a set menu are also available with prior arrangement. Directions from Ballina to Creevagh Heights in Lacken • Lat: 54.298045 / Long: -9.260981 • Leave Ballina on the N59 and at the first roundabout, take the first exit onto R314 (Killala Road) • Travel on the R314 to the small town of Killala (12.5km) • Drive through Killala staying on the main road in direction of Ballycastle (you will not go on to Ballycastle though!!) • After 4.8km cross over the narrow Palmerstown Bridge and keep immediate left • After 1.2km take a right turn in the direction Rathlacken / Lacken Church • Travel for 4.4km until you reach Maughans Bar (yellow + red colour building) • Keep left of Maughans Bar and travel 4.1km to Creevagh Social Centre – our house Creevagh Heights is facing the Social Centre Directions from Ballycastle to Creevagh Heights in Lacken • On the main street of Ballycastle, take the Coast Road (opposite McNamees Store/Gas Station) • Keep straight for about 3km passing Downpatrick Head on your left (worth a visit) • 6km after Downpatrick Head you will see Creevagh Heights on your left hand side – it is opposite the Creevagh Social Centre
