Now in their 26th year at Crossways Hotel they continue to welcome old and new friends to their small Georgian country house Restaurant with Rooms which also offers a Self Catering Cottage. Crossways nestles under the Southdowns within East Sussex close to Eastbourne, the Longman of Wilmington and Glyndebourne Opera House as well as being the ideal accommodation for visiting Lewes and Alfriston. Set in the heart of the glorious Cuckmere Valley, this refined Georgian house is the ideal base for visits to Glyndebourne Opera House, Charleston Farmhouse (Bloomsbury Set) or walking the South Downs and Wealdway. Ideally situated for the nearby towns of Brighton, Lewes and Eastbourne, and for visiting the many National Trust properties and splendid gardens of Sussex, the hotel has created a warm and peaceful ambiance in an area of natural beauty, with a well-kept garden. In the evenings you can relax with a meal in the elegant dining room. Using only fresh local produce, the kitchen serves a varied 4-course menu which changes every month. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday evening. Dinner must be reserved directly with the hotel. Tables cannot be guaranteed if not reserved in advance.
