Overview

This small hotel in the mountain village of Sorge is surrounded by the Harz countryside. It offers scenic views, a free sauna, and daily breakfast buffets. The Hotel & Berggasthaus Zum Sonnenhof has rooms and apartments with country-style furniture and a private balcony or terrace. Horse-drawn carriage rides and sleigh rides can be organised for you. The Berggasthof Zum Sonnenhof is also a good base for outings with the Harzer Schmalspurbahn train. The Hotel Sonnenhof has good road links to the town of Wernigerode and the Brocken mountain. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note that the sauna is located in a separate building to the hotel. Pets are strictly not allowed.
