Ecolucerna is a cozy lodge that provides talormade experiences with stay in exquisitely designed cabins, sorrounded by nature and free acces to a private beach area, Free WiFi, Cayman restaurant and a bar. Bungalows are fully equipped with 180° view to the forest or Madre de dios river. Each comes with private bathroom, shower. free toiletries, terrace and also a fan. Breakfast is available daily, and includes buffet, continental or American options. Located in the southern jungle of Peru, next to the exuberant National reserve of Tambopata in Madre de Dios. 26km from Puerto Maldonado Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Ecolucerna Lodge Tambopata in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests are advised to bring the following: - Mosquito repellent - Flashlight - Binoculars - Sunscreen - Walking shoes - Long-sleeved shirt and long pants Access to Ecolucerna lodge is through a motor bote and takes approximately 2 hours. Due to its location, guests partaking in any outdoor activities must be accompanied by a guide. There is no public or terrestrial transport to Ecolucerna lodge. Children between the ages of 5 and 11 pay 50% of the rate, children under 5 years dont pay. -- Based on local tax laws, all citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 18%. * This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). After reservation need to be in contact with sales team to check arrival / departure information, dietary, outdoor activities, final payments according the mature of location. We can access to the lodge [6 km from Puerto Maldonado] only by boat, then we have a canoe once a day. Please check all the items you need. Guests must contact the accommodation to complete their reservation, as it is a hotel located in the remote Amazon. Our logistics are obliged to always keep to the plans defined by the different constraints.
