It is some 270 km from San José and 70 km from Liberia. This small beach hotel, which was renovated in 2006, offers guests a peaceful retreat. It is a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore the various entertainment and sporting options available in the area. At the hotel itself, guests can experience the unique natural beauty of Costa Rica, and enjoy the facilities on offer. The hotel comprises 32 bungalows as well as a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom, a games room, Internet access/ WLAN, a bar and a restaurant specializing in international cuisine. Room and laundry services are also offered with the latter subject to an additional fee. Parking is available to guests arriving by car (charges apply). Each of the bungalows comes with their own private terrace, direct dial telephone, individually adjustable air conditioning or fan, satellite/cable TV, bathroom and safe. Tamarindo Beach is one of the most attractive areas in the world to practice surfing. Further leisure options on offer include massage treatments (charges apply) and guests may enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or participation in some of the other activities the hotel offers. There is also a separate children's pool.
