Gasthof Tauernalm

The family-run Gasthof Tauernalm is located at 1,680 metres above sea level and offers direct views of the Großglockner, Austrias highest mountain. Located directly at the Großglockner High Alpine Road 400 metres above Heiligenblut, Gasthof Tauernalm is a starting point for hiking tours in summer. In winter, this inn is located right by the Tauernberg T-bar lift, which takes you to the ski area. The traditional restaurant serves homemade delicacies and local specialities. Please note that the property is located right next to the tollbooth Rossbach on the Großglockner High Alpine Road. Please note that the Großglockner High Alpine Road is closed during winter season.
