Glasgow Metro Youth Hostel

Glasgow Metro Youth Hostel is located in Glasgow, a 10-minute walk from Charing Cross train station. The accommodation offers private bedrooms with access to a communal kitchen. The rooms are furnished with a wardrobe, desk and single bed, and will either have a private or shared bathroom. Glasgow Metro Youth Hostel is 1.2 miles from Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and guests can walk to the centre of Glasgow in 13 minutes. Pollock House and Garden is a 17-minute drive from the hostel, and the centre for architecture and design, The Lighthouse, is 1 mile away. Sauchiehall Street is 500 metres from Glasgow Metro Youth Hostel, while Royal Concert Hall is 900 metres from the property. Glasgow Airport is 10 km away. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Glasgow Metro Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Full payment for all bookings will be charged at the time of booking. All major credit & debit cards are accepted excluding American Express. All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund). Individual reservations (Up to 9 persons) - can cancel free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 3 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged. Groups reservations (more than 9 persons) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56- 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost. No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel. Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used. From the age of 5 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender when booking a bed within shared accommodation. Parties with young children (under 12 years) will only be accommodated in private rooms, where available Hostelling Scotland advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots. Check in from 15.00 until midnight and check out from 07.00 until 10.00. For late arrivals and early check outs there is a night porter. You can arrive at any time and rooms can be accessed from 15.00 onwards
