Grafton House Backpackers is a new and ever changing hostel in Auckland central. We are situated just 5 minutes from the iconic K Rd and surrounded by the great suburbs of Newmarket, Mt Eden and Ponsonby. Having gone through major renovations this year even adding a new floor to our building for a large common area, reception, dining and large homely kitchen. Grafton House has a great team that can help you plan and book your trip or assist you with the essential information to start your gap year in New Zealand Our hostel has great views of the city, Sky Tower, Rangitoto Volcano and across to the Hauraki Gulf. With FREE unlimited WIFI throughout the building, showers and toilets on every floor and an awesome chill out / BBQ area we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us. Just a 4-minute drive from Auckland city centre, Grafton Accommodation Hostel offers private and dormitory-style rooms. Guests can share a BBQ meal whilst relaxing outdoors on the terrace. Grafton Hostel is a 5-minute drive from Grafton Train Station and a 20-minute drive from Auckland Airport – there is an airport shuttle service. Auckland Domain is a 5-minute drive away. All rooms offer air-conditioning and heating. They have ironing facilities and access to shared bathroom facilities. Some rooms have sea views. You can socialise in the shared lounge area, or prepare a meal in the shared kitchen. A damage deposit of NZD 20 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note the property cannot accept guests under the age of 18 and over the age of 40 years in the dormitory rooms. You must show a valid passport, driving license or 18+ ID card upon check in.
