Each room is rustically furnished and offers views of the surrounding mountains. The family-run Haus Hochegg offers a tasty breakfast , winter garden, and also a beautiful garden outside. many hiking trails as well as the Lake Hintersee are right next to Haus Hochegg. The city of Salzburg is reachable in 26 km, while the towns of St. Wolfgang, St. Gilgen, Mondsee and Bad Ischl are all within a 20 km. In winter a cross country ski run is next to the house, snow tubing and winter walking trails are also available. Please inform Haus Hochegg in advance of your expected arrival time.
