Hellisholar Guesthouse

This family-run guest house is 10 minutes’ drive from the village of Hvolsvöllur in southern Iceland. It offers free Wi-Fi, rooms with a mountain view of Eyjafjallajökull, along with free use of outdoor hot tubs. The bright, simply decorated rooms at Hellisholar Guesthouse all have a washbasin and desk. Bathroom facilities are shared. Guests can enjoy Hellisholar’s restaurant that serves a daily breakfast buffet, packed lunches and an à la carte dinner. The guest house also has laundry facilities, a playground and a bar with karaoke equipment. On-site activities include 2 golf courses, trout fishing in a neighbouring lake and hiking paths. The Landeyjahöfn Harbour, with ferries to the Westman Islands, is 30 minutes’ drive away. Although all rates are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in ISK according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made.
