Hotel Christiania Gstaad

In 1953 the house was bought by Mr. & Mrs. Nopper. It was transformed it into the first bed and breakfast hotel in Gstaad with only ten beds. In 1978 the hotel was completely rebuilt increasing the number of beds to 38 and adding a restaurant. Since 2001 the hotel is run by Nagy and Isabelle Geadah-Nopper. The motto of the hotel will continue to be a personalized service for the utmost satisfaction of each guest. Now we allready celebrate 60 YEARS OF HOTEL CHRISTIANIA. The Christiania Hotel is centrally located at the entrance to the car-free pedestrianized shopping area of Gstaad. It is only a 3-minute walk away from the ski bus stop and Gstaad Train Station. This small hotel has been run by the same family since 1953. The rooms are all designed individually with a warm, attractive interior. Free WiFi is available. The restaurant serves authentic Egyptian and Lebanese cuisine and a selection of Lebanese wine, beer and coffee. Traditional Swiss cuisine is also available, and is served in the non-smoking restaurant or on the terrace. Free parking spaces are available next to the Christiania Hotel. A public pay parking is located opposite the hotel. Restaurant is closed from Sun 21 Apr 2019 until Fri 31 May 2019 Please inform the hotel in advance if you intend to check in after 20:00 or check out before 07:00.
