Hotel Restaurant Sophienalpe

Constructed originally by Austrian Emperor Franz-Joseph, as a rural summer residence for his mother - Archduchess Sophie - the Sophienalpe even nowadays presents herself partly in her natural shape. Adapted to a 3-Star Hotel-Restaurant, you will get quietness and recreation after a sightseeing day in beautiful Vienna. Situated directly in the "Wienerwald, but just 12km from downtown, you will enjoy your vacation. The restaurant is opened from 9.00 am till 10.00 pm and spoils you with Viennese and International dishes. In the early evening you can take a drink at our bar which has opened till 12 pm. Our indoor swimming pool has opened from the middle of May to the middle of October and can be used free of charge. Also parkingspace for the car is available free of charge. Since 1957, the Sophienalpe has been in possession of the Allmayer family and is operated as a family enterprise.
