Our 250 acre property is a true Getaway with all the comforts of home and a touch of luxury with the addition of a spa bath in one of the cabins. You can relax on the deck enjoying the serenity and peaceful surrounds or take a bush walk to bird watch and experience the native flora and fauna that inhabit our patch of paradise. Our Bush Getaway is located close to the major attractions,-Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks, Kelly Hill Caves, Seal Bay, Vivonne Bay just to name a few. We also run guided quad bike tours here and is a fantastic way to see the entire 250 acres. These tours include Marron catching, these are available to purchase so you can catch your own dinner and know that is fresh, from paddock to plate. So come and enjoy your own getaway. Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, Kangaroo Island Bush Getaway is situated in Karatta in the Kangaroo Island Region. Free private parking is available on site. All accommodation is self-contained and air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. All units include a dining area, balcony and full kitchen facilities, including a coffee machine. Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Towels and bed linen are available. Please inform Kangaroo Island Bush Getaway in advance of your expected arrival time. Please note that there are limited shops in Western Kangaroo Island. It is advised for you to bring food supplies with you. You can buy supplies at Penneshaw or Kingscote. Please note that there is limited phone reception on the island, with Telstra having the most coverage.
