ISKCON New Govardhana is a spiritual farm community situated in Australias popular Northern NSW hinterland and nestled in the foothills of the famous Mount Warning. New Govardhana is a renowned for its beautiful surroundings and is the home to the exquisite Deities Sri Sri Radha Govardhanadhari, Sri Sri Krsna Balrama, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and Sri Sri Giriraj. There are a variety of accommodation options, from self-contained cabins and private rooms, to shared male and female dorm rooms. Additionally, vegetarian BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DINNER are included in our accommodation rates, with communal meals served at the Temple compound at 8:30am, 12:30pm and 7:00pm respectively. All linen and towels are provided. Our Cabins are located close to the temple compound and across the lake on the adjoining ridge with peaceful views across the valley from their private verandas. Cabins feature bedroom, kitchenette and attached bathrooms. Facilities include a heater, kettle, toaster and small fridge. Our Guesthouse is set on a hill overlooking the tranquil rural surroundings of New Govardhana farm, with beautiful views across the valley to the temple and peak of Mount Warning. Facili Hare Krishna Hostel offers secluded accommodation, 15 minutes drive from Murwillumbah. Your included meals are vegetarian and served in the temple hall. Shared facilities include a communal kitchen, guest lounge, laundry and wrap around verandahs. Accommodation options include cabins and dormitory style rooms. Views of the mountains, lake or garden are featured in certain rooms. Cabins include a private bathroom, and dormitory rooms have access to communal separate male and female bathrooms. Both the Gold Coast and Byron Bay are 42 km from Hare Krishna Retreat. The nearest airport is Gold Coast Airport, 29 km from the property.
