Lakes Lodge Windermere

Lakes Lodge is a family-run B&B set in a traditional 19th-century stone building situated in the centre of Windermere Village. The Lake District National Park and Lake Windermere are only a 5-minute drive from the hotel. All the rooms come with private bathroom, a TV, hairdryer, small refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is served in the cosy dining room and is cooked to order. Continental and vegetarian options are also available. Dinner can be reserved by the hotel at a recommended local restaurant. World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is only 2km from the hotel. Lake Windermere tours can be arranged in advance and operate from on site. Bowness and Windermere Lake are just 15 to 20 minutes walk from this B&B. Minibus sightseeing tours of the Lake District can be arranged, visiting Hill Top, Dove Cottage and Hawkshead where you can see Beatrix Potters gallery and William Wordsworths school. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of GBP 50 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. For insurance purposes, please indicate if any child under 2 years old will be staying in his parents bed using the Special Request Box or contacting the property directly.
