Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. The air conditioned guest rooms are located in the Chateau and in its adjacent buildings. Each one is equipped with a private bathroom, a flatscreen television, a mini-bar, a kettle and a courtesy tray. Free Wi-Fi access is offered. Breakfast is served in the chateaus ballroom, which is decorated with tapestries and features a large stone fireplace. During nice weather, guest can enjoy breakfast on the terrace, which has a view of the 15th-century Chateau des Milandes. Chateau de Monrecour is just 12 km from the medieval town of Sarlat and its cathedral, whose belfry dates from the 9th century. For guests who arrive by car, free private parking is available. Please note that it is recommended to book a table at the restaurant. Please note that the restaurant, La Table de Monrecour, is closed on Monday for lunch. Please note that the reception is open from 7:30 to 22:00. July and August, if booking a cottage: - A 30% prepayment will be requested after you have booked. - The remaining amount will be requested 1 month before arrival. - In case of a no-show, your room will be held for 24h after the due arrival date. If guests still do not come, they will be charged the full reservation amount. Please note that a EUR 150 to EUR 300 end-of-stay cleaning fee is not included in the price. You can choose to pay the fee or clean the accommodation yourself. the Domaine de Monrecour does not accept group reservations (more than 6 rooms) from the end of June to mid-September.
