Overview

In the centre of Windermere village, the Oakdene apartment provides spacious self-catering accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen. Free Wi-Fi is available but not guaranteed in all rooms. The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The living area has a sofa, TV with video/DVD player and a dining table and chairs. The kitchens include a hob/oven, microwave and fridge-freezer. All linens and towels are provided and the nearest food shop is just 100 metres away. There are local walks for both experienced and casual hikers which start from Windermere village. There is a play park 5 minutes walk from the property, which has skateboard slides, a football pitch and an enclosed playground. The Oakdene Apartments are 10 minutes’ walk from Windermere Railway Station and Lake Windermere, the World of Beatrix Potter Museum and Bowness village are just 25 minutes away. Please inform Oakdene Apartments in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. It is not possible to stay at this property for Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. A damage deposit of GBP 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by bank transfer. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via bank transfer, subject to an inspection of the property. Check-in is strictly between 16:00 and 20:00. Guests are kindly requested to inform the property of their estimated arrival time when booking. This can be noted in the comments box or by contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Late check in time can be accommodated on request. Please note that this is a self-catering apartment. Guests are expected to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition. Cleaning materials are supplied. 2 parking spaces can be provided per apartment, but please note that only 1 is guaranteed and the 2nd is upon request and subject to availability. Please note, the property will not permit extra guests to be accommodated if it exceed the maximum occupancy already stated for each apartment. Neither American Express nor Diners Club cards are accepted for on-site payment. Please note that the maximum occupancy for this apartment (including children and babies) are 5 guests. In the unlikely event that the booked apartment cannot be supplied, the hotel will supply another apartment with the same facilities. Over Christmas and New Year period guests can enjoy a Christmas tree in all apartments. No late night parties (that go on after midnight, that will disturb other guests) are permitted. Anyone found doing this will be asked to leave. Our Wi-Fi is a Mesh system and should supply you with excellent Wi-Fi. There is a newly re-furbished play park for small and older children just a few minutes walk away, with facilities for small children and a bike track and skateboard park for older children. We dont have the infrastructure or facilaties to charge any electric vehicals. There is however charging points in Broad street car park just around the corner. We have no facilaties for storing bikes indoors, It is just a couple of minutes walk to shops, cafes and restaurants Managed by a private host
