Pousada Luar do Sertão is located at the entrance to the trail of one of the main attractions of Lençóis, Ribeirão do Meio, being the main entrance to the Chapada Diamantina National Park. The distance to the historic centre is 900 meters, and access is via a dirt road, which is sometimes not in the best condition. We consider our location a privilege, since our preserved native forest is directly linked to the national park, being home to birds and other wild animals that visit us daily at breakfast time. Our location is also crucial to offer peace and quiet to our guests, as even during party times in Lençóis, which tend to be noisy, silence for a good nights sleep is guaranteed. We also have a parking area included in the daily rate. The charming chalets include a delightful balcony overlooking the garden, air conditioning, minibar, private bathroom and fibre optic internet. Breakfast is included in the rate, in a living space specially designed for our guest to have close contact with the nature of our environment. Our chalets are not equipped with a television, as we consider it important for our guests to “disconnect” from their routine and have as much interaction with nature as possible. But to serve those who want to watch television, our living space also has a television and reading room. We are also specialists in suggesting tours according to the guests profile, preparing itineraries and recommending reliable tour guides. We invest in: generation of solar energy, reuse of rainwater, use of LED lamps, reflectors with motion sensors in the external area, recycling of solid waste, composting of organic waste, ecological pits, preservation of native forest, incentives for guests to save water and energy and the use of low-consumption electro-electronic equipment.
