The rural hotel is situated in the center of the town of Portel, about 40 km from Évora. The nearest public transport stop is 500 m away. Constructed in the 19th century, the 2-storey building was renovated in 1999 and comprises a total of 30 rooms of which seven are suites. Facilities on offer include a foyer with 24-hour reception, a games room and a public Internet terminal (charges apply). Guests' culinary wishes are catered to by the bar and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant (a cookery course can also be taken in the renowned restaurant). There are parking spaces and a garage available for those arriving by car and room and laundry services complete the offerings.
