Roth Ach is a detached house on a quiet cul-de-sac, looking out over a spectacular view of the Moray Firth, famed for its pod of blue-nosed dolphins. In fact occasionally these can be spotted at a distance from the rear of the house , but Chanonry Point said to be the best land-based viewing point for dolphins in the UK is visible from the house and can be reached from here in less than 10 minutes. The house has an attractive garden on a steep south facing slope which has been made accessible by the installation of paths and steps which form a short woodland walk. Roth Ach was completely refurbished in 2010 and for a few years until we moved in it had great success as a holiday let Featuring a sun terrace, Roth Ach offers accommodation in Avoch, 18.8 km from Inverness. The house is situated only 5 minutes’ walk from the village pub, restaurant and takeaways, but is in a secluded, virtually traffic-free road. It is noted for its panoramic, unbroken views across the Moray Firth to the Cairngorm Mountains and the quiet surroundings. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. The rooms offer a flat-screen TV/DVD and hospitality tray. Extras include bath robes and a hair dryer.
