Sandoway Resort opened its doors the first time in 1999 at a time when the shores of Ngapali Beach were still undiscovered. The resort is nestled amongst coconut palms on the pristine beach front where its 59 villas and cottages are scattered throughout the 6 acres of 450 meters long beach frontage and tropical gardens, most with ocean views. The resorts design concept is based on traditional South East Asia elegance, which is beautifully displayed thanks to the usage of local materials of various kinds of hard wood, stone carving and marble. The hotel interiors have been decorated with furnishings and fittings that were designed and produced exclusively for The Sandoway Resort. Staying at the Sandoway Resort allows the guest to embrace all the beauty of Ngapali Beach and indulge in its simple and yet incredibly charming surroundings. Located on the beach, Sandoway Resort offers accommodation with free WiFi. The property features an outdoor pool, a spa and 24-hour front desk. The resort is a 10-minute drive to a nearby golf course. It is a 20-minute drive from Thandwe Airport and a 30-minute drive from the city centre. Each unit comes with a safety deposit box, minibar and balcony. Shower facilities are included in the bathroom. Some units have a bathtub. The resort has meeting facilities. It provides airport shuttle, ticketing services for domestic flights and laundry services for guests’ convenience. Guests can enjoy Mediterranean and Asian cuisine at the restaurant. Please note that the property offers transfer from/to Thandwe Airport at an additional cost.
