The Cathedral Hotel

The Cathedral Hotel dates from the 18th-century and offers contemporary style and comfort within the heart of Salisbury city centre. It is just a few minutes’ walk from Salisburys famous St Marys Cathedral, shops, restaurants and local attractions. The rooms include free Wi-Fi, and a 22-inch flat-screen TV with Freeview channels. Each room has a ceiling fan, and the bathrooms all come with heated towel rails. Guests can also enjoy plentiful tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplies. Food is available all day until late, with a range of traditional English food including locally sourced steaks, burgers and great fish and chips. You can enjoy breakfast from 07:00 until 10:00 Monday to Saturday and from 8:00 until 11:00 on Sunday. From Sunday to Wednesday, the hotel offers a quiet, relaxed environment. On Thursday, Friday Saturday, the bar is open until 02:00 and offers DJ entertainment as part of Salisburys night-time club circuit. Guests are advised that it will probably be noisy until 02:30 in the morning during those days. Parking is available directly outside while you check in and unload your bags, after which longer term parking is available just 2 minutes away in Culver Street pay and display. Free parking is between 15:00 and 08:00, and on Sundays and bank holidays. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), wearing a face mask is mandatory in all indoor common areas. Please note that this hotel is part of the city nightclub circuit, and as such there is likely to be noise from Thursday to Saturday until around 02:30. Please note that guests paying by cash or with a pre-paid card on arrival will have to pay a GBP 25 deposit on a credit or debit card.
