The Edelweiss

On Queens Promenade in Douglas, Edelweiss Guest House is a long-established guest house with sea views. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Manx Electric Railway and Horse Tram Terminus. All rooms include a private bathroom, TV with DVD player, free WiFi and some come with a sea view. There is a lift to all floors which is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs. Edelweiss Guest House offers a Full Cooked Breakfast served daily in the dining room. The property also has its own gift shop, and there is a guest lounge with a 52-inch TV. Onchan Pleasure Park and Village Walk shopping precinct are only a 5-minute drive away. Manx National Glens and Douglas Golf Club are located just a 10-minute drive from the guest house. Free secure bicycle storage is available on request. As an offshore destination we request guests obtain adequate travel insurance to cover themselves against travel disruption to the Island leading to them unable to stay at our property. Please inform Edelweiss Guest House in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Stag or Hen parties cannot be accommodated. Early arrivals or late check-outs can be arranged with the property directly. This is subject to availability and charges are applicable. Secure bicycle storage available subject to availability please contact property to reserve. The property has a small passenger lift which can accommodate a maximum of 2 people. It is not suitable for wheelchair users. The lift is turned off between the hours of 23:00 and 07:30 to minimise noise to guest rooms near to the lift. The offsite parking is free and is located on the promenade. Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 09:30, Monday to Friday and from 08:00 until 10:00 Saturday and Sunday. Packed breakfasts are available but must be booked in advance.
