The Phantele Bed & Breakfast

The Phantele is a family-owned and operated bed & breakfast in the Stoke area of Plymouth. We pride ourselves on fresh decor throughout the Phantele, as well as cleanliness, tasty generous breakfasts, and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Our building, constructed in 1893, has resulted in accommodation that is modest in size and distributed over three floors accessible by stairs. We have complemented the historic constraints and character through the use of white linens, bright paint and fabrics and shabby chic furniture. Natural light floods the halls and our guest bedrooms all of which have their own personality. We display some local artists paintings and photos throughout the property of the surrounding areas of Plymouth and Devon. We are only a few minutes by car, 15 minutes by bus and half an hour on foot from the city centre. A short taxi ride from Plymouth Railway Station or Bretonside Bus Station brings you to our doorstep. Devonport Naval Base is in walking distance. HMS Rayleigh is easily accessible via the Torpoint ferry and there is free parking on the adjacent side street to our premises. Located in the Stoke suburb of Plymouth, The Phantele Bed & Breakfast is just a 5-minute walk from Devonport Rail Station. Free parking is possible and Plymouth city centre is less than 10 minutes’ drive away. A flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each traditionally furnished room. A full English breakfast and a continental selection are served in the Phantele’s quaint dining room. A fridge, microwave and coffee machine are also available for guests’ use. Home Park football stadium is just over 1-mile from this guest accommodation. The historic Barbican district with the National Marine Aquarium and the Mayflower Steps, from where the Mayflower ship left for the New World in 1620, is just a 10-minute drive away.
