The Shipwrights Arms Hotel dates from the 18th century and is full of character and charm, some rooms are in the old part of the hotel and some are in the newer part of the hotel. We hope that you enjoy your stay, in a nice relaxed friendly atmosphere. 90% of our customers are returning visitors that have stayed on more than one occasion. Located just 7 minutes’ walk from Ipswich town centre, this 18th-century, family run hotel offers free Wi-Fi and limited parking. All of the spacious rooms feature private en suite bathrooms and retain original 18th-century period features. In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note, some parts of the hotel are currently undergoing refurbishment. Breakfast will be available Tuesday - Friday 09:00 until 12:00, and Saturday and Sunday 09:00 until 12:00. There are evening meals available Monday to Friday from 18:00 until 20:00, and there is food available 7 days a week until 23:00 nearby. Check-in on Saturdays and Sundays is from 14:00 onward or by arrangement. The onsite parking is limited, however, there is on street parking nearby.
