Boasting 24-hour hot spring baths and cosy traditional Japanese-style guestrooms, Toeikan features charming architecture with warm wooden flooring and furniture. It is an 8-minute drive from JR Tsukioka Station, and free shuttle is provided from the station upon advance reservation. Guests can unwind in the room with tatami (woven-straw) flooring, sitting on chairs next to large windows. A TV and a fridge are provided, and green tea can be made with electric kettle and tea bags. The room comes with a private toilet, and bathroom is shared with other guests. Toeikan offers large public baths, or a smaller hot spring bath for private use at an extra charge. A relaxation lounge with massage chairs are next to the baths. Luggage can be stored at the front desk after check-out. Japanese breakfast with seasonal ingredients is served at the dining room, which has a relaxing and classic ambience. Ninox Ski Resort is a 30-minute drive, and Marinpia Aquarium is a 1-hour drive from the property. Downtown Niigata is a 40-minute train ride from the property. Sake can be savoured at Ichishima Sake Brewery, located within a 10-minute train ride. Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.
