Train Lodge provides unique affordable accommodation in 10 vintage railway coaches in a secure zone in close proximity to Cape Town Station and the My-city bus depot. The property is situated in close proximity to Cape Town’s city centre with great views of Table Mountain. The accommodation offered is in 2 and 4 berth compartments where you can opt for a choice of a single or single and double cabin. Bathroom facilities have been built and separate from the coaches. They have been designed to be easily accessible and private. Amenities offered include a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, braai/barbeque area, and television lounge. Train Lodge is located in the CBD, just 5 minutes’ drive from V&A Waterfront and 15 minutes’ drive from Table Mountain Cableway. It features a bar, outdoor pool and restaurant that serves daily breakfast. The rooms at Train Lodge are furnished with a simple décor. They come with bunk beds, single beds or twin beds. Each has a shared bathroom. Guests can make use of the barbecue facilities on-site, or enjoy a drink by the bar. An airport shuttle can be arranged on request.
