Unzen Fukudaya

At Unzen Fukudaya, guests can enjoy public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and relaxing massages. Free wired internet is provided in all rooms, while the lobby provides free Wi-Fi. Nishiiriguchi Bus Stop is located right in front of the hotel and Shimabaragaiko Train Station is a 30-minute drive away. The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Guests can stay in rooms with Western beds and a tatami (woven-straw) seating area or in rooms with tatami floors and Japanese futon bedding. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Fukudaya Unzen is a 5-minute walk from Unzen Jigoku Hell and a 5-minute drive from Unzen Ropeway Station. Shimabara Castle is a 30-minute drive away. Guests can refresh in the sauna rooms and reserve private hot-spring baths as well. Local products can be purchased at the souvenir shop and luggage storage is provided at the front desk. Traditional multi-course meals are available for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. Light meals are served at Riki Restaurant and drinks are available at the bar. Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. Please note, guests who plan to check-in after the check-in time must notify the property in advance. Reservations for guests who do not arrive before this time and do not notify the property in advance may be cancelled. To eat dinner at the property, a reservation must be made at least 3 days in advance. Meals cannot be provided on the spot. Please note that there are no restaurants within a walking distance from the property. Non-smoking rooms can be requested using the special request box at the time of booking. Please note that if a non-smoking room is requested, the room will be deodorised using an air neutralising spray.
