Wee Row Hostel

Just 45 minutes’ drive from Glasgow, this hostel is situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of New Lanark, a 200-year-old conservation village. Guests can visit the nearby Falls of Clyde waterfalls, just a mile away. There is free parking on site. There are plenty of picturesque walking and climbing routes in the area that surrounds Wee Row Hostel, including Tinto Hill, just 15 minutes’ drive south of the building. The Annie McLeod Experience is less than a minute’s walk from the building. Rooms in this historic building are simple in design, and come with an en-suite shower room. All boast picturesque river views. Bike storage is available at the property. Continental breakfast and hot breakfast rolls are available for an additional fee. Guests can access off-site facilities, including a leisure centre, a restaurant, and a visitor centre, for a discounted fee. Guests at Wee Row Hostel can relax in the lounge. There is also a self-catering shared kitchen, where complimentary tea/coffee is provided, as well as a dining area. Communal laundry facilities are available, and complimentary washing powder is provided. Please note, check-in is available at the property from 15:00 until 20:00. Guests who wish to check-in outside of these hours are required to check-in at the New Lanark Mill Hotel, which is a 5-minute walk away. The New Lanark Mill Hotel will register these guests and issue the room key. The hostel reception is open 08:00 to 11:00 and 15:00 until 20:00. Guests can visit the New Lanark Mill Hotel with any queries, or to access the hostel, outside of the hostel reception opening hours. Please note, the hostel front door is locked at 23:00 each day. Guests returning to the property after this time must inform a hostel team member upon check-in so a front door key can be provided. Please note that during the night there are no staff on-site. A continental breakfast pack is available for an additional fee of GBP 4.50 person. Hot breakfast rolls are available for GBP 1.20 per roll. Please note, lunch and dinners are not available at the hostel unless pre-arranged for a group visit. Guests can receive a 15% discount at the New Lanark Mill Hotel restaurant, which serves a cooked Scottish breakfast. This discount also applies for all meals, excluding drinks. Guests can also access the leisure facilities at the New Lanark Mill Hotel for a discounted fee of GBP 5 per visit. The New Lanark Visitor Centre offers guests of the hostel a 15% discount on the entry fee. Please note, guests that intend to arrive after 20:00 are required to inform the property by telephone in advance.
