Hello to the strong, resilient people of Pakistan who have struggled a lot these past few months, you can finally say that you’ve survived a pandemic! COVID-19 has changed the entire world in terms of travelling internationally and it can be extremely challenging to stay up to date with the new protocols. 

Follow these simple steps to go to Dubai and have a wonderful trip with BookMe!

Step 1: Apply for a visa! It might take more time than usual as the post COVID-19 world is a bit slow in processing but you’ll get it, we’re hopeful. 

Step 2: Tourists must take two COVID‑19 PCR tests: one before departure from a recognised lab with a validity of 96 hours from the date of the test, and a second test upon arrival in Dubai. Recognised labs in Pakistan include:

• ChughtaiLabs

• ShaukatKhanumMemorial Trust

• Aga Khan University Hospital

• Islamabad Diagnostic Centre

• Excel Lab (Pvt) Ltd

• Dr. Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Centre

Note: Getting tested from any other lab does not count and won’t be accepted! 

Step 3: You need to show an official, printed certificate to check-in – SMS and digital certificates are not accepted. Without a printed negative test certificate, you will not be accepted on the flight. 

Note: Children under the age of 12 and passengers who have a moderate or severe disability are exempt from this test.

Step 4: Complete a health declaration form and give it to the staff at check-in and you have to give this form to the Dubai Health Authority staff on arrival.

 

Note: Upon arrival you may need to take another COVID-19 PCR test. If you take a test at the airport, you must remain in your hotel or residence until you receive the test result. If the test result is positive, you will be required to undergo isolation and follow the Dubai Health Authority guidelines.
