Personal documents required

• Passport 

1. Original passports both new and old are required
2. It should include at least two blank pages and be valid for at least six months from the date of travel

• Photograph 

1. Three recent photographs with a white background and no borders, each measuring 2*2 inches in size.
2. Photograph should not be older than three months, and it should not have been scanned or stapled for any previous visa applications.

 

Financial documents 

• For employed:

1. Original leave sanction letter on employer’s letterhead
2. Recent three month salary slip 
3. Personal bank account statement for the last three months with the following details: bank name, bank telephone number, applicant name, account number with signature of bank officer and a minimum balance of RS 600,000 for individual applicant
4. Personal income tax return or tax deduction certificate for the previous three years

• For self employed:

1. Last three years' personal income tax return
2. Last three years’ Company income tax return
3. Personal bank statement for the last 3 months with the following details: bank name, bank telephone number, applicant name and account number with signature of bank officer sealed and a minimum balance of RS 600,000 if traveling alone. In the case of family, funds should be at least RS 1,000,000 but sudden deposits will not be entertained.
4. Current account statement of the company for the last 3 months with the following details: bank name, bank telephone number, applicant name, account number with signature of the bank officer and it should be updated at least 7 days before the submission date.

Supporting documents

• For employed:

1. Copy of employee ID card and visiting card

• For self employed:

1. Company registration certificate
2. If the applicant is a partner in a firm, proof of partnership is required.
3. If a membership with chamber of commerce, then certificate is required

• For students:

1. Copy of a school, college, or university ID card
2. letter of approval from the institution's head.
3. If a minor is travelling alone or with only one parent, a No Objection Certificate with notary public attest and stamp, as well as signature and ID verification is necessary.

• For retired:

1. Copy of retirement certificate
2. Copy of discharge book
3. Pension book if applicable 

Additional documents required:

1. Copy of the back and front of the national identity card
2. Family registration certificate
3. Marriage certificate is required if travelling with a spouse.

 

Important note:

1. At the time of submission, bank statements should not be older than 7 days.
2. All documentation for minors should be signed by both parents, as well as the minor's thumbprint/signature, as in the passport.
