Sir Syed Express

Sir Syed Express is Pakistan’s renowned train service which is named after a great Indian Muslim philosopher, and writer Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. It holds great significance in the Pakistan railway sector because it creates a pathway between two of the major cities of Pakistan. Sir Syed Express connects Karachi to Rawalpindi and vice versa. The train departs from Drigh road Karachi and ends its journey at Rawalpindi railway station. Due to heavy floods in 2022 in Pakistan, Sir Syed Express suspended its services and it has now relaunched its services starting on September 1, 2024.
